The Scouts prepare for an outing or an activity practising a new skill to earn a reward, aiming to earn what we also call, “Brownie points.”   Our whole catechetical programme starting from baptism, the home and continued in other forms of catechesis is a preparation for a journey into a relationship with God, with Jesus, the Holy Spirit in the company of the Church and with all of creation.

LS 58.  Pray: Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, and kindle in us the fire of your love, so that walking together we may renew the face of the earth.
