There are many aspects to consider and infertility is one that can be easier for some couples then for others to discuss. Sometimes men don’t want to even address the possibility that the reason lies with them. Sex in marriage should be natural and open to life, but there are an increasing number of couples who have difficulty conceiving. Prayer and faith may suggest different options to them as Abraham and Sarah experienced. Together they should discern well into different possible approaches and make the most life-giving decisions in conscience.
