Mary Magdalene said to him,” Sir if you have carried him away tell me where you have laid him and I will take him away.  Families were encouraged to continue sharing as they had done before Easter.  Young Magdalene liked the story how on Easter morning while her name sake, Mary Magdalene,  was weeping over the fact that Jesus’ body had disappeared she saw a strange man in the garden.  Young Magdalene shared, “Once when I was quite little you, mom,  told me that Jesus was everywhere and I must  look around to see him.  I didn’t know what he looked like, but now I have different pictures of him in my heart.  It seems that if Mary Magdalene also didn’t recognise him how different might he look to different people and at different times.”

Reflect, share and act. Scripture: Supposing him to be the gardener Mary Magdalene said to him,” Sir if you have carried him away tell me where you have laid him and I will take him away. “ Jesus said to her, “Mary”.  She turned and said to him “Rabboni, Teacher.” Read John 20:11-18.  Pope Francis: The Lord’s presence dwells in real and concrete families, with all their daily troubles and struggles, joys and hopes.  Living in a family makes it hard for us to feign or lie; we cannot hide behind a mask.  AL315.
