April 12. Norah and Amy had become active promoters of care for creation.  Norah said, “I love it, when the Bible reminds us of the Creator of heaven and earth and everything in them. And that everything can be dogs and dassies, birds and bees and bugs, as well as the trees and plants that are now clearly going into autumn and winter. Will they all survive the cold and will the poor and homeless people?    

When Peter and John were released they and their friends raised their voices and said, “Sovereign Lord, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them, who by the mouth of our father David, your servant, said by the Holy Spirit, “Why did the Gentiles rage and the peoples imagine vain things?  The kings of the earth set themselves in array, and the rulers were against your holy servant Jesus.   Acts 4:23-31   Pope Francis: Faith convictions can offer Christians and other believers ample motivation to care for nature and for the most vulnerable of their brothers and sisters.   Christians realise that their responsibility within creation and their duty towards nature and the Creator, are an essential part of their faith.  LS 64 Reflect, share, pray.  What provision are we making to care for others this winter?
