July 28   Anger and frustration.  Old Mrs Petersen had been a teacher for more than 40 years and still loved to think about the “good old days” when kids listened and didn’t answer back.  “Yes, but I’m sure there were times too when they made you really angry and you wanted to throw things at them. Like a blackboard duster!”  “What’s that?” Peter wanted to know.   “A sign of the times I would say!.”

A child who does something wrong must be corrected but never treated as an enemy or an object on which to take out one’s own frustrations. Al 269. JUBILEE. Signs of hope are also needed by those who are the very embodiment of hope, namely, the young. Sadly, they often see their dreams and aspirations frustrated.
