August 22. Wedding feasts. They discussed, “Why would someone not want to go to a wedding especially a traditional one that goes on for a day or two with lots of food and drink, I wonder.” “Maybe too busy.”  “Can’t afford to dress up.” “Not really interested, or in the people involved.” Reasons came from men and women. “I think it’s mostly men, who don’t see such religious or cultural things as relevant, same as why are there so few men in church these days?”  “But they do enjoy the feast part apart from the religious or cultural activities.”
