February  13.   In their discussion about sin the catechist had used the story of Cain and Abel.  Cain was jealous of his brother and ended up killing him.  “I believe that jealousy is a serious problem in some families, starting from small children right up to adults.  I don’t see it as something extraordinary but as a natural thing that needs to be dealt with in children. However, it still has to be overcome later in life or it can sour any relationship.”   Neo asked,  “Mam, do animals have feelings too, like being jealous of one another?” “What do you think” was the response.
