Six sessions for family reflection and faith sharing by Toni Rowland, structured around the themes of Remembering, Relating, Reverencing, Recreating, Reconciling and Rejoicing. Originally written in 2004 for the Family Life Desk and revised in 2016, it reflects on parenting as a lifelong, demanding and deeply rewarding “labour of love.”
Drawing on Catholic teaching on the family — including Pope Francis’ Amoris Laetitia — and on the realities of South Africa’s many family forms, it’s intended for parents to read and discuss individually or in a group.
