October 12.  Being French-speaking the Lemaires had been meeting regularly with a Congolese family.  Sometimes they brought some food, and at other times they were treated to some Congolese food.  They prayed and shared their own family stories and learned much about each other. A special time had been when they came together to share on the scripture of the day and gave examples of the fruits of the spirit and how they saw these in one another.

Gal 5:18-25    Pope Francis:  In various ways migration affects whole populations in different parts of the world.  Human mobility which corresponds to the natural historical movement of peoples, can prove to be a genuine enrichment for both families that migrate and countries that welcome them.
