November 4th  Miscarriage.  Bryan had spoken to a few couples who had described the pain of a miscarriage after awaiting a new birth with excitement.  Bruce and Eliza admitted their sadness but also acknowledged that when they had discovered that their baby would have been badly deformed they were at peace accepting that she could not have survived but they had given her the chance to live.   After some time they shared a quiet joy knowing that Hope, as they had named their innocent treasure, was already at home with God.    

Scripture: Our commonwealth is in heaven and from it we await a saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ who will change our lowly body to be like his glorious body by the power which enables him even to subject all things to himself.  Phil. 3:17- 4:1.  Pope Francis:  By serenely contemplating the ultimate fulfilment of each human person, parents will be even more aware of the precious gift entrusted to them.  For God allows parents to choose the name by which he himself will call their child for all eternity.
