October 31. One of the catechists had started a parish group for young children, the Masolenyana, or “The Little Soldiers of Christ.  They loved their colourful uniform especially when the leader suggested it was like their armour for God.  “If the devil sees you dressed like that he will surely run away,” she told them.  Simphiwe’s mom laughed about that but realised it was a good way of teaching about good and evil to the children, apart from what they tried to do at home. “Maybe you should wear your uniform here too,” she suggested. “I do wear my rosary and you wear your cross too,”  Simphiwe said.
