May 3. Beliefs and traditions. “Are we passing on some of our superstitions to our children along with our traditions?”  Busisiwe  said in her sodality  group.  Call it witchcraft, or just superstition but don’t we simply pass on our fears and traditional beliefs out of fear too. If we had not paid lobola I would, subconsciously at least, consider any harm to our children as a punishment from the ancestors. Will our kids living in this modern world pick up what is good and what is superstition or will they have their own modern beliefs?” 

When the crowd saw that the cripple man had been healed they said, “the gods have come down to us in the likeness of men.” And they called Barnabas Zeus and Paul Hermes, the names of their gods.  When Paul and Barnabas heard this they rushed out among the multitude crying, “Men why are you doing this?
