July 10.  Dreams.  Some of the elderly women and men had experienced dreams over the years and dreams were considered important in their culture, although they could not always find a way to interpret them. They wondered, “Are our dreams messages from ancestors, from God or some special intercessor?  The group asked Fr Phuti to come and speak to them about dreams.

Scripture:   Jacob dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth and the top of it reached to heaven and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.  And the Lord stood above it and said, “I am the Lord the God of Abraham and Isaac. It is my desire that in this our time, by acknowledging the dignity of each human person, we can contribute to the rebirth of a universal aspiration to fraternity.  Brotherhood between all men and women.
