INTRODUCTORY NOTES
We are now into the SPECIAL JUBILEE YEAR OF ST FRANCIS as initiated by Pope Leo XIV from 10 Januuary 2026 to 10 January 2027, As we commemorate his life and his legacy 800 years after his death, we are called to imitate and follow his way as best we can. MARFAM’S FAMILY YEAR PLANNER and THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY for February are accompanied by a reflection and sharing booklet beginning on 18th Febraury, Ash Wednesday. The booklet LOVE IS HIS LAW, LOVE IS HIS WAY contains meditations on the life of St Francis as well as quotations from the writings of Pope Francis and Pope Leo. Parishes are encouraged to promote its use for Lenten Reflection and family faith sharing in the Spirit of St Francis.
